What is keto

Well, we wanted to shed a little insight into this ever growing diet, and highlight the benefits a lot of people find from being on a Keto diet. 

So, what the F is keto?

Keto comes from the term ketosis. “Ketosis is a process that happens when your body doesn't have enough carbohydrates to burn for energy. Instead, it burns fat and makes things called ketones, which it can use for fuel” (Source:WebMD.com)

In simple terms, your body burns fat when there is no carbs for you to burn. The Keto diet has been known to help with those looking for weight loss, for those with certain types of diabetes and even those who suffer from epilepsy. We work closely with The Daisy Garland Foundation, as their community praise the Keto diet for helping with their symptoms.
